Naveen Sharma, PhD, is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Netaji Subhas University of Technology, New Delhi, India. He has over eight years of teaching and research experience in the field of mechanical engineering. He has authored/co-authored over 60 international publications, including journal articles, conference proceedings, and book chapters. He serves as a review board member for a number of internationally renowned journals (indexed in SCI/SCIE/Scopus) with high-impact factors. He also acts as an academic editor for the International Journal of Energy Research. He is associated with numerous international conferences and symposiums as a session chair, invited speaker, advisory board member, review board member, and program committee member. He has delivered many invited talks in webinars, faculty development programs, and workshops. He is actively associated with various research, academic, and professional societies. He received his PhD in Thermal Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Uttarakhand, and MTech in Computational Fluid Dynamics & Heat Transfer from the National Institute of Technology Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh, India, where he is a recipient of the Director’s Medal for Academic Excellence in his MTech program.

Nitesh Dutt, PhD
Professor and Head, Department of Mechanical Engineering, COER University Roorkee Uttarakhand, India

Nitesh Dutt, PhD, is a Professor and Head of the Department in Mechanical Engineering at COER University, Uttarakhand, India, with a previous stint at Graphic Era University, Dehradun, India. As a GATE-qualified professional, he has presented his work internationally and contributed research articles to SCI journals, peer-reviewed platforms, book chapters, and conferences. He has authored six edited books, holds five patents, and serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Energy Resources Applications. Dr. Dutt specializes in nuclear reactor safety, heat and mass transfer, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, solar energy applications, and computational fluid dynamics. With over 10 years of academic and research experience, he was honored with several research awards by the College of Engineering Roorkee and COER University, India. Dr. Dutt also led a TEQIP-III sponsored project and is actively involved in research under the COER-IIT Roorkee MOU partnership. He has participated in numerous workshops and conferences and has convened short-term courses. Dr. Dutt received his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Roorkee, where his research, supported by a Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences (BRNS) project, delved into "Heat-up and Cooling Studies of Debris of IPHWR." Remarkably, he gained experience in establishing a dedicated nuclear lab under the guidance of his supervisor and BARC scientists within the Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Department at IIT Roorkee.

Ankush Hedau, PhD
Project Fellow, Department of Energy Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, India

Ankush Hedau, PhD, is currently serving as a Project Fellow in the Department of Energy Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, India. He is a member of the International Solar Energy Society. He has published eight research articles in SCI-indexed journals, two conference papers, and two book chapters. His research area is related to solar air heaters, thermal energy storage, concentrated solar power, thermal power plants, mathematical modeling, and computational fluid dynamics. He received his PhD with a Solar Energy specialization from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India. In 2021, Dr. Hedau was awarded a Prime Minister Research Fellowship for his PhD studies. He completed his BE in Power Engineering from the National Power Training Institute, Nagpur, and MTech in Heat Power Engineering from the Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Maharashtra. He completed several training programs, including the 210 MW Khaprkehda Thermal Power Plant, 210 MW KWU Turbine Simulator Training, and Industrial Training at POSOCO, Western Regional Load Despatch Center, Mumbai.

Ashwani Kumar, PhD

Ashwani Kumar, PhD, currently holds the position of Professor and Head of Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Technical Education Department Uttar Pradesh (under the Government of Uttar Pradesh) in Kanpur, India. Prior to his current role, Dr. Kumar served as senior lecturer at the same organization and as Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Graphic Era, Dehradun. He has held numerous key positions within the education sector, including Coordinator for AICTE-Extension of Approval, Nodal Officer for PMKVY-TI Scheme (Government of India), Internal Coordinator-CDTP Scheme (Government of Uttar Pradesh), Industry Academia Relation Officer, Assistant Centre Superintendent (ACS)-Institute Examination Cell, Zonal Officer for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE-Diploma), and Sector Magistrate for State Assembly and General Elections. He is a Series Editor for eight book series published by CRC Press (Taylor & Francis) USA, Wiley, and Apple Academic Press. He also serves as Editor-in-Chief for the International Journal of Materials, Manufacturing and Sustainable Technologies and Editor of the International Journal of Energy Resources Applications. He has also been a guest editor for a special issue of Buildings titled as Sustainable Buildings, Resilient Cities and Infrastructure Systems. He holds editorial board positions on eight international journals and acts as review board member of 20 international journals. Dr. Kumar has published over 200 articles in journals, book chapters, and conference proceedings and has co-authored or edited over 40 books. He received a Best Teacher Award for excellence in academics and research, having successfully guided 15 students through their BTech, MTech and PhD theses. He holds four patents and frequently participates in international conferences as an invited speaker, session chair, and member of advisory boards, review boards, and program committees.
