This new volume, Neuroprosthesis Revolution: Transforming Lives with Deep Generative AI, provides a novel investigation of the creative junction of artificial intelligence, prosthesis, and neurology. It explores the transforming possibilities of neuroprosthesis improved by deep generative artificial intelligence, providing new hope and potential for people with physical impairments. The chapters highlight the significant influence these developments can have on personal life as well as on society at large.

The book presents cutting-edge research and development in the field together with case studies of effective neuroprosthetic deployment that illustrate both the difficulties and the significant influence on the users’ quality of life. The chapters explore technical innovations in sensor design, signal processing algorithms, and machine learning models that allow more responsive and simple control of prosthetic devices and enhanced functionality.

Also discussed are technologies such as deep-generative AI, machine learning, brain-computer interfaces (BCIs), haptic perception and object recognition, and more in the design of neuroprosthetics, while also considering patient experience and feedback, customization and personalization, rehabilitation and training, and ethical and cross-cultural considerations of AI-driven prosthetics. The book also presents case studies in AI-enhanced neuroprosthetics.

Researchers, practitioners, legislators, and advocates in the disciplines of bioengineering, neurology, and artificial intelligence will find this book to be a key resource that combines scientific research with social influence, therefore opening the path for a day when human potential and technology will meet at the edge of possibility.
